Paul is a co-founder of Vandal and manages the European office. He has over 20 years’ marketing and research experience and spent valuable years at MTV in the interactive team where he headed up digital marketing and the MTV websites. He is passionate about food and drink and is a keen amateur mixologist and cook.

Claudine is co-founder of Vandal and manages the company’s US operations. She boasts over 15 years’ marketing and research experience and joined Vandal after 4 years as MTV’s Trend Advisor.

London-based freelance journalist Claire, cut her teeth as the deputy features editor of weekly UK pub-trade bible The Publican before going solo in 2011. She has since written extensively on food, drink and travel for national, trade and online publications including The Independent, The Guardian, Zest, The Good Food Channel, Channel 4 Food, TNT, Inapub, The On-Trade Preview, Imbibe and TTG.

Biography

Joshua M. Bernstein is a beer journalist and critic who, over the last decade, has written for New York, Saveur, Details, The New York Times, Time Out New York, Bonappetit.com and Gourmet.com, where he was the beer columnist. He is a contributing editor to the drinks magazine Imbibe, where he writes feature articles on craft beer. He is also the author of Brewed Awakening, his deeply reported take on the craft beer revolution. As a beer expert, he’s been featured on NPR’s Marketplace and Beer Sessions Radio. He currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.

 If I’m in Brooklyn, I’m drinking a growler with friends at Bierkraft. In Manhattan, I make my way to Drop Off Service for a 20-ounce pint during happy hour, before hitting Proletariat for the newest, rarest beers in town.

Ten Bells in the Lower East Side for exciting wine choices, Little Branch or Death & Co. for cocktails, and my local is The Farm on Adderley on Cortelyou Road — they carry really interesting wines and offer them at an affordable price.

Whilst freelancing he has been lucky enough to work with some of the UK’s most highly creative and respected design consultancies – along with a mix of creative clients, personal projects and collaborations. Working in the creative/arts sector is a passion; some previous and current clients include: BBC, Hugo Boss, D&AD, Arts Council England and Lacoste.
